I know this is a prospects blog, but Derek Jeter holds a special place in all of our hearts, and technically he was at one time a Yankees prospect. Probably the best prospect in the history of the Yankees minor leagues. Anyway, this post is just to pay tribute and congratulate one of my favorite Yankees of all time. He was 5/5 with a HR, a double, a 3 singles, one of them the game winner. What a way to break a record! How appropriate for Mariano to come in and save the game as well. I couldn't think of a more appropriate way to end the game. Anyway, here's the best video of it I found on youtube.
